Helen Gu - Editor-in-Chief
Helen Gu is a writer based in San Jose, California. An alum of the Iowa Young Writers Studio, her work appears or is forthcoming in Eucalyptus Lit, Eunoia Review, Scapegoat Review, Inflectionist Review, and others. She has been recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, Bay Area Creative Foundation, and Bow Seat Ocean Awareness program. Aside from writing, she loves milk tea, cats, and obsessing over Pride and Prejudice.
May Zheng - Poetry Editor
May Zheng is a rising junior attending Concord Academy in Massachusetts. An alum of the Iowa Young Writers Studio and GrubStreet’s Teen Summer Writing Fellowship, her work has been recognized by Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and Barnes & Noble. She primarily writes poetry and is especially passionate about Spotify playlists and Sichuan cuisine.
Justina Yoon Park - Poetry Editor
Justina (Yoon) Park is a dynamic high school student in Seoul, South Korea. Her poetry and visual art have been recognized by multiple literary magazines such as the Daphne Review, the Corvus Review, and more. Her dedication to her craft has earned her admissions into the Iowa Young Writers’ Workshop and the Kenyon Young Writers Workshop.
Jiajia (Dora) Chen - Fiction Editor
Jiajia (Dora) Chen (she/her) is a playwright and artist based in Providence, RI. She writes dramatic works while enjoying reading fiction and poetry. She is an alumna of the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio and her essay on Personal Identity won a High Commendation for the John Locke Institute’s 2023 Global Essay Competition. She has a great interest in Philosophy. Her favorite author is Gabriel García Márquez and she enjoys the Godfather movies.
