Fatihah Quadri Eniola

To See The Stream.

morning
falls. dusk's no
more a flood of dark
water that runs through the
sky. a child is gathering dew with
the sequence of his tongue. the despair
for sunrise’s dropping from the eyes
of forest trees, their lengthy
shadows dissolving like
a pencil that sketches
sun on the palm
of the sky.
